My French/English science lesson went really well! It was surprising to see how the two groups approached the lesson. Those given the lesson in French were so attentive and asked lots of questions (in English but whatcha gonna do?) and were super attentive even though they didn’t really understand. One student actually managed to translate some of the words on the quiz. The students given the lesson in English though didn’t pay much attention and even though, didn’t ask any questions (except one girl who pointed out a mistake I made which was good), and even though they were given a worksheet with all the answers and the exact diagram I wanted them to draw they still missed a bunch of questions.
I was pretty nervous so I did the French lesson first because I figured if I messed up no one would know. The lack of interest in the English lesson students messed me up though.
A coworker of my mother came to do some recording of the lesson and afterwards he told me he was surprised/impressed I put actually science in my lesson. I smiled and said thank you but that was clearly a blow.
Celebrated my victory with a burrito and relaxing before I have to pick up my grandmother from gray care.
