Simply not having money is a silly excuse to not be vegan, some of the poorest people I know are vegans. Knowledge is key. I myself was a vegan while homeless and traveling the country on no money, and with that knowledge I knew how to sustain myself. Like I said, impossible and not feasible are two separate things.

I agree with you 100% about how low income is no excuse for not becoming a vegan. I too was a vegan throughout the poorest time of my life (the only exception being when my mother was buying my food and didn’t know I had switched. I wasn’t going to throw out the food she bought me, that’d be ridiculously wasteful).
I really can’t say what the ratio is of people with such and such physical/social afflictions are but I cannot imagine any combination where veganism isn’t a feasible option.
